Course for Those Wishing to Join the ALPHA Sports Club – in Russian Language, October 19, 2024

Shooting Club ALPHA invites everyone to immerse themselves in the world of practical shooting by completing the introductory Safe Shooter course, which provides basic knowledge and skills necessary for participating in practical shooting competitions. Those who successfully complete the course will be able to join the ALPHA club, attend club training sessions, and participate in IDPA and IPSC practical shooting competitions.

Time and Date: • Saturday: 19.10.2024 10:00

Price: Theoretical course 100€, personal practical course 60€

Location: Training classroom and shooting range at Pirni 5, Tallinn (see Map and Street View);

Training Language: Russian;

Course Requirements: Good mood, positive attitude, and a valid firearm permit (except for athletes under 18 years old and shooters preparing for an exam at the ALPHA club).

Learning Outcomes: After successfully completing the course:

The shooter understands the rights and responsibilities of a Safe Shooter in accordance with safety rules, the club’s internal regulations, and Estonian legislation;
Recognizes types and classes of sports firearms and understands the applicable requirements and restrictions for firearms, ammunition, and personal shooter equipment;
Understands safety requirements and adheres to the rules for safe firearm handling within the shooting range and beyond;
Understands the principles of participating in practical shooting competitions, the rules for completing exercises, and the scoring method in IDPA and IPSC disciplines;
Will receive a certificate of completion for the first-level Safe Shooter course.
Will have the opportunity to apply for a sports category for their personal firearms.
